5 Oct 04 Bush vs. Public Lands Slide Show
Tues. 5 Oct 04 @ 7PM --The Miami Group of the Sierra Club, The Glen Helen Institute and The Community Solution, Inc are hosting a public education tour on the threats to America's public lands that are the result of Bush administration policies. Slides will highlight plans for oil and gas developments in places such Utah's redrock canyonlands and New Mexico's desert grasslands. Information will also be provided on other threats such as the logging of old growth forests. The meeting is open to the public. Find out what you can do to protect our National heritage.
The program will be given at the Glen Helen Institute in Yellow Springs. The presenter is Clayton Daughenbaugh, Sierra Club National Organizer.

Sat. 4 Dec 04 @ time tbd --The Miami Group of the Sierra Club HOLIDAY HIKE - Glen Helen/Clifton Gorge/John Bryan Parks (Ohio) 10 mile of in&out hiking through Glen Helen, John Bryan & Clifton Gorge Parks. We will hike through Pine forest, along creeks/cascades and beautiful Clifton Gorge. We will eat lunch at the Clifton Mill about half-way through the hike.
