Sprawl Watch Clearinghouse info, advice & referrals on sprawl & smart growth Clearinghouse helps advocates, grassroots organizations, public officials, developers, architects, planners, policymakers & others revitalize existing communities and reduce sprawl

Smart Growth Network Network includes planners, govt. officials, lenders, community developers, architects, environmentalists and activists. Encourages development that protects the environment and pays for itself without raising property taxes.

American Farmland Trust The Trust works to stop the loss of productive farmland and to promote farming practices that lead to a healthy environment. AFT has conducted cost of community services studies around the country.

Rocky Mountain Institute
Rocky Mountain Institute focuses on economic renewal. RMI's tool kit of sustainable development techniques has practical solutions for declining and booming communities.
